Jody Adkison is Vice President of Production & Procurement for Grizzard Communications Group. She is responsible for vendor contract negotiations and relationships - securing the best pricing for the best quality for all Grizzard client verticals. Jody also leads and provides guidance to a team of professionals in the Atlanta and Los Angeles offices, who are responsible for the day-to–day pricing and production of multi-channel fundraising efforts for some of the largest nonprofit organizations in the world.

Jody joined Grizzard in 1985, and has extensive knowledge of integrated database management, procurement principles and third party vendor partnership. She meets annually with strategic partners both nationally and internationally to renew business contracts and fine tune quality controls.

Her leadership in direct marketing, digital, and media production integration starts with creative and carries through to final result analytics, which has enhanced Grizzard’s leadership in multi-channel fundraising. Her direct lettershop and production experience includes print, imaging on digital, offset, sheet-fed, web and inline, as well as manufacturing production for specialty packages and envelopes.

Jody‘s leadership and understanding of the postal system and procedures give Grizzard our distinct advantage when working with the United States Postal Service during these times of unprecedented change. Her years of experience in mail qualification and nonprofit regulations along with her partnerships with multiple USPS insider committees provides Grizzard's clients postage savings and more timely delivery.

Prior to her current role, Jody was the Database & Research Manager and then the Director of Operations & Client Services for the American Red Cross client unit. She is a member of the Direct Marketing Association, American Management Association, The Institute for Supply Management, APICS-Association for Operations Management, The American Professional Purchasing Society and is a USPS Postal Customer Council Insider.

She is also a founding member on the steering committee of the Omnicom Production Group, which provides pricing advantages for all Omnicom Agency clients worldwide. Her experience and knowledge of all areas of the business makes her a more effective negotiator for her client’s interest.

In her free time, Jody is an avid baker. She enjoys bicycle riding with her husband, Bill, and in summers past participated in the weeklong Bicycle Ride Across Georgia. She recently decided to get her motorcycle license, and now enjoys weekend rides alongside her husband as they explore the North Georgia Mountains.
