Madlen Satamian

Madlen Satamian is the Vice President of Integrated Media and a Senior Strategist at Grizzard Communications Group. She is a direct mail veteran who brings over 20 years of experience working with mailers from different industries such as nonprofit, retail, catalogs and publications, and she has served as a list manager as well as a list broker.

She first attended Barnard College and then went on to Hunter College in New York City where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics. She later obtained her Master’s Degree in Economics from Hunter College.

Madlen oversees all media planning and buying for Grizzard – using her strong negotiation skills to keep costs to a minimum. Her responsibilities include the coordination of all list rental activities and list acquisition for direct mail, print advertising in newspapers and magazines, radio and television broadcasts, outdoor advertising, free-standing inserts and co-op mail.

Madlen keeps abreast of current marketing trends and maintains an extensive history on list response activity. She has helped to develop and implement sophisticated list research techniques and offers expertise in data processing, house file data manipulation and campaign analysis.

In addition, she is continuously creating proprietary in-house response analysis software that ensures timeliness, accuracy and efficiency of the order process – thus providing clients with the most comprehensive media plans available. Her strategic work on behalf of clients, many of whom are the nation’s leading nonprofit organizations, has consistently produced better results in conjunction with greater efficiency.
