Web Designer – ATL or LA
Our Web Designer will:
- Hand-code HTML and JavaScript to develop Web pages and HTML based emails. Code corresponding text and viral marketing if needed.
- Conceptualize and execute web design solutions within client brand standards and digital best practices.
- Keep apprised of new digital technology, tools and programs as well as web design trends.
- Share web best practices and trends with peers to ensure a collaborative environment.
- Manage client and vendor deliverables and turnaround by established deadlines.
- Maintain accurate and organized resources, tools and assets.
- Optimize graphic elements and upload images for image serving
- Maintain online creative coding archive site housing all client work
- Upload creative and send test emails to Internal and Client resources for approvals, incorporating modifications as needed
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Strong HTML hand-coding skills (without the help of a WYSIWYG)
- PC/MAC Proficient
- Experienced with graphic packages including Photoshop, Fireworks, and Flash
- Working knowledge of Convio, Kintera platforms a plus
- Ability to both interface with writers, art directors and project managers AND work independently
- Detail-oriented personality with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Superior communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; HTML certification a plus
