Guiding Principles of our Strategic Planning
Our objective is to strengthen core direct marketing expertise, while growing focus on integrated services. Grizzard’s brand promise is to use information across marketing channels to improve fundraising results.
By developing an integrated marketing approach and culture for our clients, Grizzard will be combining the core components of advertising, marketing and public relations with activities and gifts, brand development and research data. These individual components alone achieve results, but when used together, reinforce each other for greater impact.
Grizzard Strategic Planning Process
Our strategy team has decades of collective experience in developing marketing plans for nonprofit clients. Our planning process includes:
- Preparation and review of macro and micro trends reporting
- Industry and environmental evaluation
- SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) to interpret trends and factors
- Identify critical strategic challenge
- Prioritize strategic initiatives to be addressed in first phase
- Weigh strategy options in light of future vision
- Determine tactics to accomplish strategic initiatives
- Define what success looks like
- Develop action plans, responsibilities and timelines with clear links to budgeting and performance expectations
- Create plans for monitoring progress and evaluation of meeting objectives – quarterly and monthly reviews
- Adjustment of the strategic plan as required
