At Grizzard, we use a number of different email marketing solutions. My favorite happens to be Vismail because it can deliver email to a person’s inbox without all of the graphics being stripped out. What does that mean? You know when you get an email that’s all text and a bunch of blank boxes and you have to click something like “Download Pictures” or “Get Entire Message” to see the email as it is supposed to look? Well, you don’t have to do that with Vismail. As soon as you open the email, all of the graphics are there. Video even plays straight from the email in many cases.
Enter MailChimp.
Vismail might be my favorite, but being a bit of a social media guy, I have to admit that I’m drawn to MailChimp after seeing the video below. The Facebook Like button has quickly become an easy way to attract new visitors to your site, and according to Mashable, some sites have reported a 50% increase in referral traffic due to the buttons.
My question is, have you been using Facebook Like buttons on your site? Do you click Like on other sites? Is having the Like button in your outgoing email attractive to you?
As always, please subscribe to our blog, tweet us, or simply say hi on Facebook and give us your thoughts. And, please share this with your friends.
